Welcome Xiaoping Li!

What a wonderful day for the Kohler Mito Lab!

We are excited to announce the arrival of our very first team member, Xiaoping Li!

Originally from China, Xiaoping has recently completed her PhD in Germany and we are thrilled to welcome her as a postdoc in our lab in Umeå. She will leverage her expertise in cutting-edge genetic approaches to develop novel mitochondrially-encoded reporters for studying the molecular principles of the quality control of mitochondrially-encoded proteins. We are looking forward to working with Xiaoping and eagerly anticipate the new insights and perspectives she will bring to our team.
