First Day of the Kohler Mito Lab

My first day at work has come and gone, and to say I was nervous would be an understatement! I was greeted warmly by Erik Johansson, our department head, which immediately put me at ease.

The monthly PI meeting served as the perfect platform to meet my new colleagues. The introductions by our financial and human resources management were insightful, and it was thrilling to see so many new faces. Admittedly, remembering all the names was a bit of a challenge!

By the end of this week, I’ll be giving my first talk at our weekly in-house seminars. This will be a fantastic opportunity for me to introduce myself and share the exciting projects planned for our lab.

Next on the agenda is setting up my office, and hopefully, our lab will be up and running as soon as possible. Stay tuned for more updates on our journey!
